ARISS Hardware Meeting in Houston Texas. The purpose of this meeting was to review and test two proposed amateur radio projects ( Kenwood D700 and the Marexmg Slow Scan TV system). The two projects are being considered for possible flight to ISS in 2003 or 2004 as part of an Amateur Radio educational program.
In this set of pictures are members of ARISS originations and representatives from Kenwood corporation. The Kenwood D700 transceiver can be seen partially disassembled in the bottom pictures, while the ARISS team experiments with different ROM programs for the D700 radio.
